Income Tax Department Recruitment 2023 Educational Qualification

Director (Systems) : Master’s Degree in Computer Application or Computer Science, or Bachelor of Engineering/Technology in relevant fields.
Deputy Director (Systems) : Master’s Degree in Computer Application/Computer Science or relevant qualifications.
Assistant Director (Systems):  Master’s Degree in Computer Application/Computer Science or relevant qualifications.

Income Tax Department Recruitment 2023  Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit:the age limit for appointment by deputation (including short-term contract) for all the mentioned posts is not to exceed 56 years as of the closing date of receipt of applications.

Experience

Director (Systems) :Twelve years’ post-qualification experience in relevant areas of Programming or Information Systems in a government office or public sector undertaking.
Deputy Director (Systems): Five years of experience in electronic data processing work, with at least two years in the design, development, or organization of computerized information storage and retrieval systems.
Assistant Director (Systems) :Two years of experience in electronic data processing, including experience in actual programming

Selection Process: 

Candidates for the positions of Director (Systems), Deputy Director (Systems), and Assistant Director (Systems) will be selected through a deputation process. Eligible officers from the Central/State Government, Union territories, autonomous bodies, public sector undertakings, statutory bodies, recognized research institutes, universities, and semi-government organizations are invited to apply.

Application Process: 

Interested and eligible candidates are required to submit their applications in the prescribed Proforma, along with their Annual Performance Appraisal Reports of the last 5 years, cadre clearance, integrity Certificate, Vigilance Clearance Certificate, and details of the status of Major/Penalty imposed during the last ten years. Applications, duly signed and stamped by the competent Authority, should be sent through the proper channel to the Directorate of Income Tax (Systems), Central Board of Direct Taxes, New Delhi.
