Kerala Blasters wary of dangerous Punjab FC in Indian Super League Reeling under an injury crisis, Kerala Blasters have done well losing just three games out of the 13 games this season. However, their performance in their last game against Odisha FC, which they lost 1-2, in Bhubaneswar has given coach Ivan Vukomanovic plenty to worry about.
KOCHI: A quick glance at the ISL standings suggest that 11th-placed Punjab FC should be no match for third-placed Kerala Blasters when they host them at the Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium on Monday evening.
But the ISL debutants are quite capable of pulling off a surprise as they showed in their game against Bengaluru FC, where they stunned the former champions 3-1.
Reeling under an injury crisis, Blasters have done well losing just three games out of the 13 games this season. However, their performance in their last game against Odisha FC, which they lost 1-2, in Bhubaneswar has given coach Ivan Vukomanovic plenty to worry about.
Vukomanovic’s men struggled to tame the dangerous Roy Krishna in that game as he single-handedly broke through the Blasters’ defence.
