A new all-time high has been made in the share market today i.e. on Saturday (2 March). Sensex made an all time high of 73,982 and Nifty made an all time high of 22,420. The share market is open today also on Saturday. National Stock Exchange i.e. NSE had announced on 14 February that the market will remain open even on the holiday of 2 March. There will be two special live trading sessions during this period. This is being done to test the disaster recovery site.The disaster recovery site is used to recover data from the most recent backup. If the primary location and its systems fail due to an unexpected event, it can be switched to the recovery site.

One session will be held on the primary site and the other on the DR site.

The first session of special trading will be from 9.15 am to 10 am on the primary site and the second on the DR site from 11.30 am to 12.30 noon. The pre-opening session will be from 9 to 9.08 am and 11.15 to 11.23 am.The upper and lower circuit limits in securities including shares with future and option contracts will be 5%. That is, the shares will fluctuate within this range only. The stocks which are already in the 2% band will remain in this band.

Yesterday too, Sensex made an all-time high of 73,819 and Nifty made an all-time high of 22,353.

Earlier yesterday, i.e. on March 1, there was a rise in the stock market. Sensex made an all time high of 73,819 and Nifty made an all time high of 22,353. However, later it came down slightly and the Sensex closed at the level of 73,745 with a gain of 1245 points.

At the same time, Nifty also increased by 355 points. It closed at the level of 22,338. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 23 saw a rise and 7 saw a fall. The biggest rise was seen in oil-gas, banking and auto shares. Tata Steel was the top gainer of Nifty.
